The Crusaders prop Owen Franks will appear before a SANZAR judicial officer on Monday afternoon after being cited for a dangerous tackle in Saturday's Super 14 rugby match against the Western Force.
Franks, who came on as a replacement late in the game, was cited following a tackle on standout Force first five Matt Giteau with two minutes remaining in the match, which ended in a 23-all draw.
