A man has been seen acting suspiciously near a Southland school, and police are asking the public to come forward if they know anything.
A female student told police she had seen a silver car near a bus stop outside Woodlands Primary School several times over the past few weeks.
In the latest incident on Wednesday, she witnessed a man running from the bus stop to the car.
She told police the car once drove alongside her as she walked to the stop, and then parked across the street.
Police said another female pupil had also been followed by a silver car.
They asked anyone who had seen a silver Mitsubishi Diamante in the school area to contact them.
