More than 60 artists are show-casing their work at the South Island's largest sculptural exhibition in Christchurch this weekend.
The biennial event Sculpture on the Peninsula is held at the historic Loudon Farm on Banks Peninsula.
This year's exhibition showcases works by over 60 sculptors from around New Zealand.
Exhibition manager Gill Hay said there were a few stand out pieces including over 500 ceramic vessels which represented the local soldiers who went to war.
"Golden Horse by Hannah Kidd is also a standout. It is breathtaking. It is three and half metres high, it has a mane made out of light bulbs which is going to light up," Ms Hay said.
The exhibition is run by a charitable trust.
