Police investigating an incident that has left a 10-year-old boy in a serious condition, say it involved another child.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident at Invercargill's Sacred Heart School on Friday, in which the boy received serious head injuries, involving an electric fence standard.
The incident involved a 9-year-old boy who was also a student at the school, police said today.
The 10-year-old has come out of the induced coma he was put in yesterday, but remained in a serious condition in Dunedin Hospital.
