Police have formally identified the woman whose death has triggered a homicide investigation in Taupo.
She was 47-year-old Katrina Rose Drummond, whose body was found in an Elizabeth Street house.
A post-mortem is being done today to establish what caused her death.
Martin Cranswick Schofield appeared in the Rotorua District Court yesterday charged with her murder. He was remanded in custody and will reappear on 13 May.
