More than 30 people are still occupying the land after the council threatened to evict the group.

Mau Whenua, the group occupying the land for the last year, say they have seen police and developers driving past over the weekend.

They are hoping to have discussions with the Port Nicholson Block Settlement Trust and the Wellington City Council this week.

They say there have been a steady stream of supporters coming dropping into the occupation.

Mau Whenua are managing the numbers of people who come to the occupation as per Covid-19 rules.
