Covid-19 update: Three new imported cases and three historical cases

There have been three new imported cases of Covid-19 and three historical cases reported in New Zealand's managed isolation facilities today, with no new cases in the community.

In a statement, the Health Ministry said five previously reported cases have now recovered.

The total number of active cases in New Zealand today is 25 and the toal number of confirmed cases in this country has now reached 2273.

The new imported cases reported today arrived from the USA and the UAE, while the three cases that have been confirmed as historical came from Jordan, the Philippines and Indonesia. Historical cases are not considered to be infectious.

There was one new case reported in managed isolation yesterday.
