New Zealand world and Olympic shot put champion Valerie Vili has found a new coach.
Vili recently ended her 11-year relationship with former coach Kristen Hellier and is to work with former French national coach Didier Poppe.
Poppe is a javelin champion and has guided several athletes at Olympic Games and world championships.
Based in Auckland, Poppe has previously worked with Vili on a short-term basis and with her husband Bertrand Vili, a discus thrower.
