All Black Dan Carter has announced the birth of his son, named Fox William Carter.

Carter's wife Honor gave birth on 3 April. It is the second son for the couple.
The All Black posted an image on Twitter to welcome their "healthy and handsome" son.

The Crusaders first five had returned to New Zealand for the birth, missing their Super Rugby clash with the Sharks in Durban.
