There are 126 new community cases of Covid-19 reported by the Ministry of Health today.

In a statement, the Ministry of Health said of the 126 new community cases, 107 are in Auckland, 18 in the Waikato, and one in Northland. Of these, 59 cases are not epidemiologically linked.
There are 49 people in hospital including three in ICU or HDU; there are 17 in North Shore, 12 in Middlemore, 19 in Auckland, and one in Waikato.
The average age of those in hospital is 47 years.
Of the 18 cases new cases in Waikato/King Country, six are in Hamilton, five in Te Awamutu/Kihikihi, four in Ōtorohanga, two in Ngāruawāhia, and one in Kawhia.
All the Waikato cases have been epidemiologically linked.
There is one new case in Kaitaia in Northland today, who is a household member of the Northland case announced yesterday. This brings the region's total number of cases to 14, with three people now recovered.
All of the cases in Northland are isolating at home with public health oversight.
Two more staff members at Edmonton Meadows care home in Henderson have now tested positive for Covid-19
That brings the total number of active cases there to 12.
A mobile testing unit will be at the care home for further testing for residents and staff.
Two of the Covid-positive residents are in North Shore Hospital.
There are no new cases in Christchurch today. However, there are still the four active cases who are in quarantine and 22 locations of interest in Canterbury.
Test results from additional wastewater samples collected in Christchurch are expected tomorrow.
There are three cases among returnees.
Of yesterday's 161 cases, 47 have exposure events.
The ministry said there was a small number of Covid-19 cases in Corrections custody in Auckland.
These people were exposed to Covid-19 prior to coming into custody and are being managed appropriately to avoid any potential for the virus to spread to the prison population.
There is no evidence of in-facility transmission to date.
New Zealand's vaccination rate stands at 88 percent for first doses and 76 percent for second doses - representing 3,179,817 people fully vaccinated.
Yesterday. 27,473 vaccines were administered.
The vaccination rate for Māori is 72 percent for the first dose, 53 percent for the second.
For Pasifika, 85 percent have had their first dose, 69 percent their second.
There were 162 new community cases yesterday.
