The capture of a chemical weapons expert from Islamic State has been confirmed by the United States military.
A spokesman said Sulayman Dawud al-Bakkar, also known as Abu Daoud, was caught in Iraq last month.
The Pentagon said the capture had removed a key IS leader from the battlefield.
It says Daoud had divulged details about IS chemical weapons facilities and production, as well as the people involved in it.
