A Hamilton man charged with the manslaughter of a woman in the city last month has appeared in court.
Raewyn Green, 50, died in hospital on 11 February three days after being found unconscious on the floor of her Pinfold Avenue home.
A post-mortem revealed she sustained injuries consistent with an assault.
Brendon Scott, 52, was arrested earlier today and appeared in the Hamilton District Court this afternoon.
Police said he was known to Ms Green, but they would not comment further on their relationship.
He has been remanded in custody to reappear in court later this month.
