Lifting off at Easter Weekend is the Wairarapa Balloon Festival 2017. The series of events includes morning ascensions, burner parades and the extremely popular Night Glow on Friday the 14th of April, when the balloons are tethered to the ground and lit up like multicoloured lightbulbs against the night sky.
