12.30 Phil Manzanera on his new collaboration with Tim Finn

Roxy Music guitarist Phil Manzanera and Tim Finn have released a collaboration album called Caught by The Heart.

The album comes 45 years after the pair met in 1976 when Split Enz supported Roxy Music on their Australian tour. Incorporating international music styles from Cuba, Spain, and more, Phil considers the album “truly world music”.

Phil joined Charlotte from his home in West Sussex, and spoke about making the album in spite of the global pandemic, and the 50th anniversary of Roxy Music.
