Grammy award winner Jack Antonoff is currently one of the world’s most successful pop music producers, working with artists like Lorde, Taylor Swift, and Lana Del Rey. 

His indie-pop band Bleachers have been releasing music since 2014. Their latest album Take The Sadness out of Saturday Night was released earlier this week. 

Friend of Music 101 and co-host of The Detail Emile Donovan caught up with Jack to discuss how he keeps up with his many projects, his career so far, and working with his idol Bruce Springsteen.

3:30 The Weather Station 

Indie folk band The Weather Station has seen a number of member changes since their debut in 2006, but frontwoman Tamara Lindeman has always been the head of the project. 

Their third album Ignorance was released in February and was shortlisted for the 2021 Polaris Music Prize.

Tamara joins Charlotte to talk about how her concern and worry about climate change subconsciously affected her songwriting.

Now one-fifth of Crowded House, Liam is on the verge of releasing a new project named ‘Liam Finn’s Hyperverse’. 

He’s started an innovative online streaming series on Twitch, in which twice a week, audiences can tune into an intimate ringside view of his songwriting and recording process as the new album takes shape in real-time. 

The series will conclude with three limited capacity events happening at Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland's Roundhead Studios from August 11th to 13th (which are sold out) 

Liam Finn introduces some of his favourite songs and talks about life, Crowded House, Bitcoin, and making music in the modern world.
