1:20 Google's 'Security Princess' on staying safe online

Last month we talked about passwords and how we're a bit lax when it comes to keeping them safe - and it got us thinking about how we stay safe online in general.

What else are we too relaxed about? Are there any simple things we could fix today?

To answer a few more of those questions. Parisa Tabriz, Google's Director of Engineering and self-titled Security Princess talks to Jesse.

1:32 New way to support charities without parting with cash!

Over the last year and a half New Zealand's 28,000 registered charities have had to re-think the way they raise money - particularly those that operate physical retail shops from donations.

Now, a new online marketplace has stepped into the void to open up a new avenue for fundraising.

It's called Chooza and it connects charities with businesses and individuals who sell new or used items - but instead of the seller pocketing the money, the funds go directly to charity. Jesse speaks to founder, Stephen Moon.

3:35 Critter of the Week Snares Island Jumping Wētā

This week’s critter is a little brown wētā native to the cold and windy Snares Islands, 100kms south of Rakiura. It might look unremarkable, but it has some pretty funky defence mechanisms and eating habits— it ejects stinky, brown fluid from both ends when threatened and doesn’t rule out cannibalism in a pinch!
