1:17 Euro 2020 final: Italy's triumphant win 

Itay has claimed victory after a nail-biting final that went into overtime and included a penalty shoot-out at Wembley.

It's only Italy's second European title after last winning in 1968.

Wellington restaurateur, founder of La Bella Italia in Petone, Antonio Cacace, whose son is a rising star in New Zealand football, joins Jesse to mark the occasion.

1.27 Latest on COVID in NSW

It's expected that the new cases of COVID-19 in the greater Sydney region will today exceed 100. There's expected to be an extension on the lockdown already in place as well as further restrictions implemented in an attempt to get control of the outbreak.
