A charity has been set up to provide support and relief to social workers who are helping vulnerable Māori families to get through the Covid-19 related hardships.

Jen Deben, came up with the idea to help the helpers after seeing how tirelessly they were working during the initial lockdown and how much support the families were needing.

She talks to Jesse about how the charity, Applause, works and why the support for the social workers is so important.
