1.25 Auckland Age Concern on helping people in isolation

 The Prime Minister announced on Saturday that people over 70 should stay at home. Age Concern Auckland is concerned about how elderly people will cope with isolation and is calling for people to reach out to the elderly people in their lives in any way possible, while keeping everyone safe. Kevin lamb is the CEO of Age Concern Auckland.

1.30 Call for retired and semi retired medical staff to assist hospitals 

As we start to look at the lasting impact of Covid 19 on our medical infrastructure a call has gone out to recruit retired and semi retired medical professionals. Dr Sam Hazledine is the founder of medical recruitment company MedRecruit and is behind this call. 

Health professionals have been warning the health system is desperately stretched.
