1:15 Some animals have innate sense of morality

Studies have shown babies start judging people by how they relate to eachother at an early age, so a team at Kyoto University wanted to see if this could the same in animals such as monkeys and dogs. The team, lead by Comparative psychologist James Anderson, conducted a series of tests and found the animals do have a strong sense of fairness, and innate morality.

Hawkes Bay farmers, Greg and Rachel Hart last night won the farm forestry award at the Hawkes Bay Primary Sector Awards. They run a sheep and cattle station called Mangarara near Elsthorpe, where they run an eco lodge, grow organic veges and have a tree planting programme among other things
