2:10 The French Spider-Man - Alain Robert - Alain Robert's known as the French Spider-Man but there are no special effects involved in what he does. He's climbed some of the world's most dramatic buildings, like the Empire State Building and the Eiffel Tower with nothing but chalk to help his grip. Yesterday he scaled the 40 story Metropolis apartment building in Auckland.
Jack Lanting first came to our attention a few years ago when he raised $20,000 to rescue an aging trekking and logging elephant who he named Kwan Jai. She spent her last years in freedom thanks to Jack, but passed away. He had one last visit with her. Now Jack is working hard on raising money again to save another elephant. He'll be learning how to speak Thai and coming up with ways to raise money to help his beloved elephants in Thailand.
