Mike Dickison is starting a knitting group for men. He calls it the League of Knitting Gentlemen and they meet for the first time in a cafe in Upper Riccarton in Christchurch tonight.

2:20 Football Ferns - Maia Jackman -  Now Football in New Zealand was primarily  the domain of men for many years in New Zealand.  but this morning the Football Ferns beat China 4-nil to win the Valais Cup in Switzerland to show just how far women's football has come in New Zealand.
The stunning win is not a huge surprise for some football insiders who have seen the women's game going from strength to strength over the years. Among them, former Football Fern Maia, Jackman. She played for the Ferns for 19 years, retiring just last year.

2:30 Reading - Molly, Daisy and Gracie have finally found the rabbit-proof fence and their morale has been boosted by the knowledge that it is  their pathway home.  However the effects of limited food and the risks of an unfriendly environment begin to take their toll as the weeks drag on.
