2:20  New Zealand Society Series - 'For the love of walking' - Part 1 Walking for Protest - Lisa Thompson
Kiwis love to walk. Maybe that's why our national symbol is a flightless bird.
Every day and every year tens of thousands of New Zealanders pull on their shoes and step out the front door.
Some do it for fun, some do it to win and as the first part of this four part New Zealand Society considers, some people do it to make a point.
