2:20 The Grace Yeats Trust - Jonathan Tanner
Last May, ten year old Grace Yeats came home early from St Mary's school in Carterton with a headache and a sore throat.
Within a few hours, she was unable to walk or talk, a mystery illness had affected the part of her brain that controls movement.
Grace was transferred to Auckland's Starship. After months away from Carterton for Grace and her family, who have constantly been at her bedside, Grace has returned to the Wairarapa Hospital.
The Carterton community is rallying around the family to help raise money for all the renovations that will be required when Grace finally gets to go home.
