Outback odyssey - The Purple Truck

From Afternoons, 2:10 pm on 27 February 2013

Hundreds of kilometres from Alice Springs, Ronnie and Noel Edmonds from Taranaki pull into remote Aboriginal communities in a big purple truck with a life-saving service. The truck provides a mobile dialysis to patients who would otherwise have to live for long periods of time away from their families. Ronnie and Noel have been on the road with The Purple Truck since 2011. They've been back in New Zealand on holiday and return today to the Outback.
