A recent passenger has tested positive for coronavirus in the CNMI, taking the territory's number of active Covid-19 cases to five.

The 30-year-old woman arrived on a United Airlines flight from Guam on Thursday and originated from the U.S. mainland.

Governor Ralph Torres' Covid-19 Taskforce said she was asymptomatic and had existing medical conditions.

United Airlines said it was cancelling 90 percent of its international flights in April.
