Samoa's attorney general won't appeal against a court ruling that dismissed contempt of court charges relating to the bestowal of the paramount Malietoa title.

The district court in May ruled that the charges against matai and tulafale from Malie village amount to an abuse of process.
The Samoa Observer reports the Attorney General's office has not filed an appeal within the required 14 days.
