Local media reports said MPs are now restricted from posting to social media from within Parliament.

Parliament on Monday passed amendments (26-23) to the Standing Order.

Mr Nawaikula said MPs should be allowed to share House matters online.

Opposition Whip Lynda Tabuya said the new rule needed clarity.

Leader of Government, Inia Seruiratu, said the amendments would protect the sanctity and integrity of Parliament.
