The 31st member of Tonga's Rugby World Cup squad has been confirmed.

Newcastle Falcons lock Uili Kolo'ofa'i has joined the squad in Bucharest ahead of this weekend's clash with Romania.

Head coach Mana Otai announced his World Cup squad two weeks ago but delayed naming the final player, after four props were ruled out of contention through injury.

He had been considering whether to select a sixth prop or add cover in another area of the forward pack.

Kolo'ofa'i boosts the 'Ikale Tahi locking stocks, joining Tukulua Lokotui, Steve Mafi and Joe Tuineau.

The team continued their World Cup preparation with a comprehensive 69-14 win over Nottingham at the weekend.
