Curated by Charlotte Yates, In Her Own Words is a concert of selected poems by celebrated New Zealand writer, essayist and journalist, Katherine Mansfield, set to contemporary music.
The music is written by several of Aotearoa's leading songwriters. The songs are linked with a selection of Katherine Mansfield's letters, read by Miranda Harcourt.

Independent singer/songwriter & recording artist Charlotte Yates has also produced albums devoted to New Zealand poets James K Baxter, Hone Tuwhare and Witi Ihimaera.
Katherine Mansfield spent most of her career in Europe, dying at the age of just 34 in 1923.
The performers are:
