    Majuro Atoll, the capital of the Marshall Islands, has seen over 230 Marshallese deported from the United States since 2013. The mayor of Majuro Atoll is calling on the national government to get on top of increasing crime-related problems involving people deported from the US.

    Marshallese deported from the US have been convicted of a murder, a knife assault, and rape, while two additional assaults that occurred last month are under investigation.
