    Voters in American Samoa have elected a new Governor, Pulaalii Nikolao Pula, with new Lieutenant Governor Pulu Ae Ae Jr.

The unofficial results of a run-off election held yesterday gave Pulaalii & Pulu 5,846 or 59.8% of the 9,771 votes cast.

    Pulaalii Nikolao Pula and Pulu Ae Ae Jr collected 5846 of the 9771 votes, while incumbent Governor Lemanu and Lt Governor Laapui received 3925 votes.
