Indonesian officials say all 18 people on a plane that crashed in the west of the country earlier this week have been found dead.
The BBC reports that the Casa C-212 plane came down on Thursday in a remote mountainous part of the island of Sumatra on Thursday, but bad weather and rough terrain had hampered rescue efforts.
Hopes of finding survivors of the crash had been raised when the mother of one of the passengers said her daughter had phoned her and a door on the aircraft was seen to have been opened after the plane came down.
