A man has confessed in court to shooting dead two members of the United States military and wounding two others at Frankfurt airport in March.
Arid Uka, 21, a Kosovo Albanian who went to school in Germany, told the court he was swayed by Islamist lies and could not undo what he had done.
He said he felt he had to act after he was shocked by a video the night before the attack that appeared to show US soldiers raping Muslim women.
The BBC reports the video, which he watched online, was actually a scene from an anti-war film, Redacted by Brian De Palma.
If the court accepts his confession, he is likely to get 15 years in prison.
