State media in Syria report that a bomb blast has hit an oil pipeline near the city of Homs.
It is the second time a pipeline appears to have been targeted since protests against President Bashar al-Assad began in March.
State news agency Sana called the explosion a terrorist attack by a group of ''saboteurs'' at 4am on Friday.
It said the blast left a crater 15 metres wide.
A gas pipeline near the town of Mayadin in Deir al-Zour province was damaged by fire on 13 July.
The BBC reports oil production in Syria is about 350,000 barrels per day. It is a key source of income for the economy.
