NSW 1982 bomb case reopened

New South Wales Police and Australian Federal Police have reopened an investigation into the bombings of the Israeli consulate and a club in Sydney in 1982.

Club in Sydney are releasing new images of a woman and two cars believed to have been involved.

Two people were injured in the bombings at the consulate in William Street and a vehicle at a car park at a club in Bondi on 22 December, 1982.

Police said on Monday they believe gas cylinders used in the blasts came from the NSW State Rail Authority.

AAP reports an updated fact sheet and images, including a woman and two cars believed to be linked to the explosions, will be issued on Monday.
