Ryder determined to stick around this time

The Blackcaps' batsman Jesse Ryder says he wants to stick around in the New Zealand cricket team this time.

Ryder has been included in the squad for the third and final match of the Twenty20 series against South Africa on Wednesday, as well as being named in the One Day International Squad.

Ryder admits he wasn't expecting to return to the side so soon, given how well a number of New Zealand's batsmen have been performing.

Ryder, who's been plagued with injuries over the past few years, says he's determined to remain in the team and says having a hit out in the Twenty20 game would be a good warm up before the ODI series.
