New Zealand's world champion shot putter Valerie Adam's has continued her impressive year, winning at a meet in Slovakia.
The Olympic and three times world champion added 46 centimetres to her meeting record set last year and was more than two and half metres ahead of her nearest rival.
Adam's distanace of 20.83 metres was the third longest throw of her career.
At the same meeting, Ethiopian based Zane Robertson won the 1500 metres race in 3min 46.84s.
His twin Jake who's based in Kenya is still feeling the effects of a leg injury following a fall at the recent World Champs in South Korea, finished fourth in the 5000m.
