India were dismissed for 288 in reply to England's first innings 221 with bowler Stuart Broad taking a hat-trick on his way to Test-best figures of six for 46 on his Nottinghamshire home ground while India's Rahul Dravid top-scored with 117 - his second century in successive Tests.
