Black Caps Bangladesh tour postponed

New Zealand Cricket has confirmed that the Bangladesh board has agreed to further postpone the Black Caps' two-Test tour.

Last October's tour schedule originally comprised two Tests and three One-Day Internationals but was changed to five one day matches because of the World Cup.

The Tests were pushed back to May and June but after reviewing predicted weather conditions New Zealand Cricket asked for the matches to be moved to 2012 when the calendar is less cluttered.

Chief executive Justin Vaughan says it's a sensible outcome because Bangladesh is extremely hot and humid in May and June and cricket's seldom played then.
