Black Caps coach well aware of size of task facing his side

The New Zealand cricket team face India tonight in their final warm-up match before the World Cup, and coach John Wright knows just how much of a confidence boost a win would be for his struggling side.

Before the Black Caps scraped past Ireland in their first warm up match in Nagpur on Saturday, they'd won just two of their last sixteen one-dayers, including a recent 5-nil series whitewash in India.

Wright says victory over India would catapault the Black Caps into the tournament proper with the wind firmly in their sails, but he concedes they'll need to lift to another level if they're to upset the hosts in Chennai.
