Hearts have turned the Scottish Premier football League title race into a a rare three-horse race as they beat champions Rangers 1-0.

Table-toppers Celtic extended their lead to five points over Rangers as they beat Aberdeen 1-0, but their bitter Glasgow rivals have two games in hand whilst Hearts, who are seven points adrift of the leaders play the Bhoys next up.

Ryan Stevenson was the Hearts star as the midfielder's late goal clinched the three points, inflicting Rangers' first away defeat of the season, and gives the 'Jam Tarts' a genuine chance of claiming what would be their fifth league title, but first since 1960.
