The Silver Ferns netball coach Ruth Aitken has increased the intensity in training this week as they look to rebound from their first test loss to Australia.
Australia won the opening match 48-43 in Adelaide and they'll do battle again tomorrow night in Wellington in the second of the three test series.
The New Zealanders have gone through two grueling sessions since arriving back and Aitken says they need to practice the way they want play.
She says they probably didn't do enough in training to simulate the intensity of taking on the world champions.
