New Zealand women's basketballer Mary Goulding is in a critical condition in intensive care after a car accident in Christchurch yesterday.
The NZ women's basketball team announced the news on social media, asking people to send love, thoughts and prayers to Goulding and her family.
The 26-year-old has 12 caps for New Zealand, and was recently named in the Tall Ferns side for their upcoming Europe Tour and FIBA Women's Asia Cup at the end of June.
The Tall Ferns just finished a training camp in Auckland earlier this week.
The side is due to have their final preparation camp in Auckland next weekend.
