Europe's top female golfer, Gwladys Nocera is the third big name player to enter next month's inaugural New Zealand Women's Open in Christchurch.

Nocera, who won the Ladies European Tour's Order of Merit, will follow 4-time major winner Laura Davies and world number 30 Katherine Hull to head downunder for the ALPG swing. This includes the New Zealand Women's open to be played at Clearwater Resort from the 30th of January.

The Frenchwoman, who has won nearly 1 million dollars on the back of five wins on the LET this year, is a further major boost for the Open.

New Zealand Golf expects to announce a number of Australian and European players, along with a number of New Zealand professionals and leading amateurs in the next few weeks.
