"That was a really clinical performance if I'm being honest. That first half we were so patient and backed our ball carriers, slowly working our way up the field...so that was awesome from us," Curry told Sky .

"GB are a pretty good team and they have had a pretty tough buildup in terms of their campaign so for them to make a semi-final and push us is a credit to what they can do."

Curry said the plan now is try and relax as much as possible ahead of their final.

Haivng been part of the side in Rio that suffered a shock quarterfinal exit Curry was looking forward to the gold medal match.

"It is huge. It is what we came here for, to be in this position. We are really excited by the opportunity ahead of us now.

"We'll get a good nap in this afternoon in the A/C (air conditioning), cool down a bit and get ready for the next one."
