Rashford netted three minutes from time, 18 months after scoring the decisive goal in a 3-1 win at PSG that sent United into the quarter-finals of the last competition.
It was PSG's first Champions League group-stage defeat at the Parc des Princes in 25 games, having last lost 3-1 to CSKA Moscow in 2004.
Chelsea were frustrated by a disciplined Sevilla as their opening game ended in a 0-0 draw at Stamford Bridge.
Europa League winners Sevilla, who have been a thorn in the side of English clubs in Europe, contained Chelsea's attacking threats in a game of few clear chances.

Defending champion Primoz Roglic took the early lead by winning the opening stage, a 173-km trek from Irun as the race got off to an explosive start.
The Slovenian, who lost the Tour de France yellow jersey on the last competitive stage last month, powered away from a small group of top contenders with one km to go in the Alto de Arrate.
Roglic's Jumbo-Visma team mate American Sepp Kuss blew the peloton apart in the last climb with a brutal acceleration.
Bennett finished 40 seconds back in ninth.
Meanwhile Team Bahrain McLaren's Jan Tratnik edged past Ben O'Connor in a two-man finish to win the 16th stage of the Giro d'Italia, a 229km hilly route from Udine to San Daniele del Friuli.
Around 13 minutes adrift of the stage winner, Portuguese Joao Almeida made a late charge on the steep finish to extend his overall race lead to 17 seconds over Sunweb's Wilco Kelderman.

Five wicket bag for Jamieson

Jamieson took 5 for 39 as Otago were bowled out for 186, with Auckland 79 for 3 in reply.
Canterbury will start day three at the Basin Reserve on 148 for 5 in reply to Wellington's first innings of 65.

Talks of Man U and Liverpool in European competition
Manchester United and Liverpool are in talks with Europe's elite football clubs to join a new FIFA-backed tournament that would reshape the sport's global landscape.
Manchester United declined to comment on the Sky News report, Liverpool did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Citing unnamed "football industry" sources, Sky said more than 12 teams from Europe's top five leagues - in England, France, Germany, Italy and Spain - are in negotiations to become the founding members of the new tournament, dubbed the European Premier League, with a provisional start date in 2022.
The report added the financiers are looking to raise a $9 billion funding package to kick start the new tournament.
Sky said that FIFA, football's world governing body, is working on a new format, which is expected to feature 18 teams playing fixtures during regular European season before a knockout phase, Sky said, adding that neither FIFA or UEFA had commented on the story.
The idea of a European super league has been regularly floated over the last 20 years, with UEFA coming out strongly against it.

Bahraini cleared by WADT
World 400 metres champion Salwa Eid Naser has been cleared of committing an anti-doping rule violation after a World Athletics Disciplinary Tribunal dismissed charges brought against her for registering four "whereabouts failures".
The 22-year-old Bahraini, who won gold at the World Championships in Doha last year, was charged and provisionally suspended by the Athletics Integrity Unit in June.
According to World Athletics Anti-Doping Rules, any combination of three whereabouts failures -- filing failures or missed tests -- within a 12-month period by an athlete constitutes an anti-doping violation.
Athletes guilty of whereabouts failures could face two-year bans or a minimum of one year depending on the degree of fault.
However, the tribunal found in Naser's favour with regard to a third alleged missed test on April 12, 2019, which resulted in the charges being dismissed because her three whereabouts failures did not occur within a 12-month rolling period.

Kobe's jersey to be displayed at Smithsonian
NBA great Kobe Bryant's jersey from the 2008 season when he won his sole regular season Most Valuable Player award will be displayed at the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington.
Bryant, a Los Angeles Lakers icon and five-times NBA champion, was killed in a helicopter crash at the age of 41 in January along with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven others.
Bryant wore the jersey in Game 5 of the NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics, a series the Lakers lost before he led them to consecutive titles in 2009 and 2010. He donated the jersey to the museum in 2017.
