100 metre champion in doping violation

The world and Olympic women's 100 metres champion Shelly-Ann Fraser has been provisionally suspended after testing positive for a painkiller that she'd failed to declare.

The Jamaican withdrew from a meeting in Switzerland on Thursday, but said she had nothing to hide.

Fraser's agent said that at an event in Shanghai in May, she'd forgotten to mention on her doping form that she'd taken the analgesic oxycodone for a persistent toothache.
