Triple Olympic sprint champion and world record holder Usain Bolt has withdrawn from this month's New York Diamond League athletics meeting with a tendon injury.
Bolt had been expected to face American Tyson Gay in a 100 metres showdown between the world's two fastest men.
The meeting is on June 12th with Bolt expected to be out of action for three weeks.
New Zealand's champion Shot puter Valerie Vili will compete in the New York meeting.
