New Zealand has picked up three titles at the second World Cup rowing regatta in Austria.

Robbie Manson in the singles sculls, the womens pair of Grace Prendergast and Kerri Gowler and the women's double of Brooke Donoghue and Olivia Loe all won their events.

The womens's eight were second in their final.

Manson, who is going head to head with Mahe Drysdale for the New Zealand spot at the World Championships, had a tough sprint finish with Germans Tim Ole Naske and Oliver Zeidler.

"That was really hard work and I feel pretty tired right now. Towards the end I was just putting in strokes and I managed to get past Tim and Oli. It's been a lot of hard work and a lot of nerves leading up to this so it feels pretty special."

World Champions Prendergast and Gowler surged ahead of the field when Great Britain put in a bad stroke and they finished almost seven seconds ahead of the field in the women's pair.

"Race was good considering this was our first one in Europe this year. We hope to see more of this and potentially step it up with our training camps on the way to the World Rowing Championships," said Gowler.

Scullers Donoghue and Loe started slowly, but hit the front in the second half of the race to take the win by two and a half seconds from the Netherlands.

"That was great as we wanted to just do our own race. We had a steady first 1000 meters and then pushed. Everyone is going to keep stepping it up so we will need to do the same, " said Olivia Loe.

The third and final World Cup regatta is in Switzerland next month with the World Championships in Bulgaria in September.
